this is a dr. oz is there a way to get
rid of diabetes I'm 32 years old and I
weigh 140 pounds and since I got it is
really done turning my life around is
there some type of way to get rid of
diabetes that is probably the most
important question that I have filled it
and I hear it once in a while I want to
make more clear on doctors you can
reverse your diabetes about 90% of time
Wow 90% of the time and if you think
that if you're just saddled with this
and you're gonna weigh what you get away
you're not right one of the big reasons
that people get to actually bypass sorry
for example is because we know they're
within two weeks within two weeks before
you're gonna lost the weight your liver
says hey you know what there's less
stuff coming in here I'm gonna change
the hormones and guess what you don't
have the proper diabetes anymore in 90%
of cases so we know these we take
somebody who's got an extra 10 pounds on
board and you get them to lose that that
weight you can reduce a chance of
diabetes by about 60% I think if you
have a little extra weight than that you
lose that you can increase those numbers
quite dramatic how do you do that number
one you want to make sure the snacks in
your life are smaller than your fist
make a fist a bowl right now no matter
how big you are small you are that's the
size of a snack you could have after
you've had that much of a snack have a
big glass of water it washes off the
taste you don't heat mystically want
more of it leather big tender is not to
eat late at night if you eat within
three hours of bedtime it's not that the
calories are any different but you don't
have to have those calories I mean wake
up in the morning you're equally hungry
where they had them or not so you can
take down by 100 calories the amount of
food you eat every day that is pretty
much the recipe for long-term weight
loss if you mix that with you avoiding
some the sugary sodas too so many folks
are getting switched to a diet version
yeah I do the simple things they got the
empty calories you get those 10 pounds
off and and friends like our Facebook
buddy who wrote in saying he's $140
she's hundred forty thousand and having
diabetes that all goes away
mmm okay now you just made it I gotta
jump back onto this real quick now
there's also a study that says apples
not caffeine are more efficient at
waking up waking you up in the morning
this is a why is that and is there a
difference between our producer I want
to get to the soda thing right now but
does coffee
really
we wake you up in the mornings just from
the caffeine or the same can get the
caffeine from that Apple the reason
Apple's work is a little different but
caffeine is absolutely a stimulant and
by way I don't have a problem caffeine
right yay
exception except this is the cream of
sugar you put in the copy that's a
problem and if you're addicted to it
that's a problem
actually yeah so if you can't go for an
hour or two in the morning without
coffee this for Jenna right and you get
start getting jittery and headaches
they're like and you're addicted to it
and you never want to be addicted then
it's a drug it's not a stimulant it's a
drug then so I want people just be real
with themselves about that insight once
you get past that realize that caffeine
number one source of antioxidants the
country by far it's actually seems to
reduce the chance of dementia because it
keeps you awake and alert it actually
may reduce the chance of some cancers so
caffeine is okay as long as doesn't go
along with the obesity from the peevish
energy add into it and I think an apple
is a great solution I don't happen to
have caffeine in the morning and there's
a reason for it I'm a heart surgeon I
still operate gratifi so if you know if
you drink coffee and you go to the o.r
you got to go to bathroom which is a bad
thing to have to do is go back and put
some at your hand shake another bad
thing yeah that's a hell of a walk down
the hallway exactly so yeah I had to
tell you I had to use the restroom so
